FAQs: Hidden places in West Bay & Lusail
What is there to do in West Bay?
West Bay is Doha's skyscraper district, best seen from the Corniche and Sheraton Park, especially after dark when the towers are lit. It is mainly for hotels, restaurants and malls rather than heritage sights.
What is there to do in Lusail?
Lusail has Lusail Boulevard, Place Vendôme mall, Lusail Stadium, the Katara Towers and waterfront promenades such as Lusail Marina. It is newer and more spread out than central Doha, and at its liveliest in the evening.
How do I get to Lusail by public transport?
The Doha Metro Red Line runs north to Lusail, and the Lusail Tram connects the main districts within the city. Check the route in the Karwa Journey Planner app, as tram lines have opened in phases.
Is West Bay walkable?
The Corniche promenade is excellent for walking, especially in the cooler months and after dark, but many towers are separated by wide roads. Use the Red Line metro or a taxi to hop between clusters.
